Angela Mobley grew up in Altus, Oklahoma did a stint in Texas
and is currently on her sixth year as a Midwesterner. Her body
of work consists of videos, video installations, photos and
various public works. She received an MA in Painting from
Illinois State University in 2003 and an MFA in Film, Video
and New Media (FVNM) from the School of the Art Institute
of Chicago in 2005. She is an instructor in the FVNM
Department of the School of the Art Institute and is a
recent recipient of an Illinois Arts Council Fellowship in
Media Arts for 2006.
